Problem in new BTS feature.

Package: bugs.debian.org
Severity: important

	Hello. In the XSF we have detected a problem with the new versioning feature.
We have 4 merged bugs in the xserver-xorg package, namely #318218, #318231,
#318271 and #318405. They were closed by the 6.8.2.dfsg.1-3 release, but
users report failure in the fix, so I sent a mail to control@b.d.o:

--------------
Subject: Reopening libvgahw.a bugs.
From: David Martínez Moreno <ender@debian.org> (Debian)
To: control@bugs.debian.org
Cc: debian-x@lists.debian.org

found 318405 6.8.2.dfsg.1-3
merge 319003 318218
thanks
--------------

	I did the second thing because I expected to find the merged bugs in 'open'
status again. But every one of them is:

* #318405: xserver-xorg sets wrong palete on switching to console.
Package: xserver-xorg (6.8.2.dfsg.1-1, 6.8.2.dfsg.1-2, 6.8.2.dfsg.1-3;
fixed: xorg-x11 6.8.2.dfsg.1-3);
Severity: grave;
Reported by: Reinhard Karcher <rkarcher@frey.de>;
merged with #318218, #318231, #318271;
Done: David Nusinow <dnusinow@debian.org>;
Will be archived: in 28 days.

	So even when I have a bug in the supposedly closing version, the bug does not
reopen. I f I say 'found', the BTS should remove the fixed from the list,
thus reopening it.

	We will not touch the bug reports in order to allow you to test.

	Best regards,

		Ender.
