Looking at the changelog and #274513, it looks very likely that this has 
indeed been fixed.
I can confirm that the workaround listed in #274513 _does_ work.

I see -10 is currently building, but looking at [1] it looks likely, that 
because of the gcc-3.4 dependency, it might take a while before that 
version will get to testing (at least it will need intervention from the 
release managers).

I don't want to run a mixed installation ATM so I'm not going to install 
-10 from unstable, but will test as soon as -10 gets to Sarge.
