This is caused by an incorrect patch that also broke NumLock. - It is
easy to fix though:
1) download http://people.debian.org/~ari/unfuck_numlock.diff to /tmp/
2) Become root.
3) cd / && patch -p0 < /tmp/unfuck_numlock.diff
