xserver-xfree86-4.0.2-1
Can you help me please
Problem:
xserver starts but no text, icons are displayed in any application,
desktop or menu.
there is a background image.
menus are just a black outline with the outline of the arrows to go
through the levels, not text, no fillin/hilight.
Color can still be displayed but no pictures
applications do run but as stated no text, icons or pictures are
displayed
mouse does work, but pointer is a large square. (didn't work with proper
rates for my monitor)
occurs no matter the window manager.
also xterm4.0.2 appears as a black window with only 1 small white
outlined squares where prompt should be. NOTE! also seen this way in
3.3.6.
NOTE! when installing there were lotes of dependancy issues.

200mmx +64megs ram
Debian testing/unstable crossbreed
please find enclosed XF86Config-4 and the x startup capture(x.out)
