We have two forms, could you precise the one you meant ?:
* http://www.debian.org/distrib/packages
This one indeed defaults to stable, it could defaults to any.
* the one at the up right corner of
http://packages.debian.org/vim (such an url use 'any' by default)
The search in contents name cannot be performed on any suite, and
defaults to stable.

It is not possible (not only an interface problem).
