To be honest I'm sure the previous translator is inactive since many years.

Most translations got already removed because these were out dated. See
e.g.
http://cvs.debian.org/webwml/indonesian/Attic/?root=webwml

http://people.debian.org/~peterk/outdated/ (linked from
http://www.debian.org/devel/website/uptodate) contains information how
to reactivate such old translations.

I suggest you start with the most important pages and send us updates to
this list. We will investigate these and commit ...
