That might be better. Quotes are not the only HTML/CSS-thing, IE does not understand. So Richards suggestion helps with _one_ of the problems only.

Related to the quotes, there is only Links, I know, not to understand <q> tags. And the script wil not help there.

I really do not think, it is necessary to re-invent the ie7 scripts for Debian. And for sure, that would be needed to solve _all_ problems with IE. Beside that I am not willingly to spend any time on looking for side effects of Javascript which is in the webwml tree for all browsers.That will make my work more difficult and time eating.
