Hey, I checked this and noticed that the left navigation bar seems only
visible on the main page. The site looks really naked this way.

You're right that the validation links were part of this navigation bar,
I do not remember whether it was restricted to the main index page or
not. I assumed you want to add the links at the end of each page and it
is still true that the bottom part of each page is nearly completely
filled with administration data (a back to ... link, language selection
and copyright). I use konqueror in a 1024x600 resolution (with a larger
virtual resolution). Together with the menu bar, a tool bar, the address
line, the tabular head and the status line there is not much space for
each page ...
