This message was on debian-devel in reply to a message about call wave billing. It asks for a page about stupid non-debian questions sent to debian mailing lists. -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Re: remove me from call*wave Resent-Date: Thu, 30 Dec 2004 06:48:35 -0600 (CST) Resent-From: debian-devel@lists.debian.org Date: Thu, 30 Dec 2004 12:48:31 +0000 From: paddy lt paddy at panici dot net gt To: debian-devel@lists.debian.org References: <410-220041243015658391@earthlink.net> <20041230022151.GM26857@hezmatt.org> <87is6k6mp4.fsf@kreon.lan.henning.makholm.net> <20041230123015.GA12072@cobalt0.panici.net> [snip, see debian-devel thread "remove me from call*wave" for more info] In fact, isn't it about time someone put up a page along the lines of http://lists.debian.org/google_me_harder.html explaining the phenomenom, and providing helpful links to sheet music, medical advice for children with fevers, callwave's accounting department and whatever else comes along. Threads like this would then tend to terminate in a link to the google_me_harder page, and the wizbang search index weighting algo-thingies would do their magic, saving joe sixpack from the onerous task of using his/her brain.
