Package: www.debian.org
Severity: wishlist

Most debian.org webpages use the www.debian.org pseudo package for
bugs. Some don't. It would be great if every page in debian.org
would state at the bottom something akin to:

  "Found an error? Report a bug against 'www.debian.org'"

Or am I to file bugs against, e.g. packages.qa.debian.org also
against www.debian.org?

Anyway, a statement such as the above would possibly encourage our
users to report errors they spot, even if only very little.

 From the bottom of a www.debian.org page:

,----------------------------> quote <----------------------------
| To report a problem with the web site, e-mail
| debian-www@lists.debian.org.
`----------------------------> quote <----------------------------

> Or am I to file bugs against, e.g. packages.qa.debian.org also
> against www.debian.org?

 From the bottom of packages.qa.debian.org:

,----------------------------> quote <----------------------------
| If you have questions or comments about the PTS, please contact
| [Rapha=EBl Hertzog].
`----------------------------> quote <----------------------------
 (where "Rapha=EBl Hertzog" is a link to his mail address)

 And from the page you complained also about, db.debian.org:

,----------------------------> quote <----------------------------
| You can contact us at admin@db.debian.org.
`----------------------------> quote <----------------------------

> Anyway, a statement such as the above would possibly encourage our

 Very little indeed, as even the people suggesting such a thing don't
read the pages.

 Much luck to you, I'm closing the bugreport. If you find a page where
such a thing isn't in the footer feel free to reopen it so we can track
down for you whom to bug to add.

 So long,
Alfie
