Debian doesn't run on kde, kde runs on Debian :-)
I, personally, prefer fvwm, rather than kde/gnome, but this is a list
about the web page of Debian, try debian-user@lists.debian.org or
debian-announce@lists.debian.org instead of debian-www@lists.debian.org.
