If my conclusions were right, your changes should fix the problem. In the
meantime, I've added the debian-cdd.??.po files to every language in the
CVS, so your changes should not be needed for wml in order to terminate
without an error.

However, I really appreciate your help. Thank you very much.

Hm... indeed. As far as I understand, both your fix and the addition of the
relevant *.po files should independently from each other fix the problem.

But I'm not absolutely sure about this, and to restore everything back to
fully working order, I would still stick to my announcement that I'll
revert the changes in the Makefile (thus removing the debian-cdd stuff) at
about 14:30 CEST, if nobody with a deep understanding of the issue tells me
to do otherwise.

Please do not understand this as criticism, Gustavo. I honestly thank you
for this fix, but to be really sure that everything goes back to normal,
I'd rather restore the previous state.

So far, no big damage has happened, only a few pages haven't been updated,
which is rather an annoyance than anything else. To keep things that way,
I'd really rather play save.

Thanks,
