That should be an :-(

Due to the fact that there are quite a number of requests ("this doesn't 
work, that doesn't work") is there anyway someone could change the main 
page to say "We are currently recovering from a major problem and some 
features might not yet work correctly. Thanks for your patience."

That "major problem" could point to the News item talking about the 
compromise.

If the situation is going to take longer I believe that changing the main 
page, even if w/o the CVS would be in order. Adding this same text (in 
english) to other HTML pages (i.e. translations) should maybe be done too.

Just a thought.
