Colin Watson pointed me to ftp-master.debian.org/removals.txt.   Would
be nice to have this linked from the developer pages.  I'm not sure
about the whole ftp-master.d.o pageset, might be best to
ask the ftp folks first.  But the removals page is indispensible.
