Package: www.debian.org
Version: unavailable; reported 2003-03-23
Severity: wishlist

Hello,

http:// URLs in the package description are links on the packages.d.o pages.
for example http://packages.debian.org/unstable/web/wget.html

When using https:// in the description the URLs are no links on packages.d.o
for example http://packages.debian.org/unstable/net/hammerhead.html

Would be helpful if http://, https:// and maybe ftp:// are supported as
links on packages.d.o

Thank you.

Howdy,

I've committed a patch that transforms ftp and https URLs into
links. You should be able to see the results after the next
packages.d.o rebuild.
