Bug#167588: listarchives: Could uris be simplified?

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1

Package: listarchives
Version: N/A; reported 2002-11-03
Severity: wishlist

Hi.
I'm using following several lists using the listarchives. Doing so, I
wonder whether paths in the urls could be simplified: e.g. instead of
<http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2002/debian-devel-200211/>
it would be more convenient to just have
<http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2002/11/>.
Additionally it would be cool to have something like
<http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/current/> as a link to the current
month to be able bookmark it.

(On a side note, I'd really think that HTML-Anchors for authors would be
cool, as I sometimes just like to follow the comments from specific people.)

Regards

Thomas
