contradiction???

In
http://www.debian.org/ports/mips/index
one could read:

    "Known problems
No working x keymap for XFree 4 on Decstations
R4600 CPUs currently seem to have an unresolved bug appearing as
    segfaulting perl. It seems that
    export LD_BIND_NOW=1 solves the problem.
    O2 R10000 is NOT supported
    O2 R5000 - EXPERIMENTAL without framebuffer
    Indigo 2 R8000/R10000 are unsupported
Indigo 2 framebuffer are unsupported ...."

Apparently the indigo2 are unsupported..... but in :
http://www.debian.org/ports/mips/system
one could read:

    "SGI Indigo2 IP22/IP26/IP28
        Manufacturer Silicon Graphics Inc.
        Date announced
        Native OS IRIX
        CPU R4000PC 100Mhz 1M L2 cache
                    R4400 100-250Mhz 1-2M L2 cache
                    R8000 75Mhz

Mem Standard 72pin SIMM with parity, 384M Max.
        Extension slots
                    GIO32/GIO64/EISA
        Case
                    Teal ior purple desktop
        I/O
                    Ethernet 10Mbit AUI/RJ45
                    SCSI-2 HD50
                    S-Video/RCA/Indycam connector
                    2 RS422 serial ports
                    Parallel
                    Audio in/out
                    PS/2 Mouse/Keyboard
        Specials
        Status
                    Supported"
