Package: pine396-src
Version: N/A; reported 2002-04-30
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

I hate to do it this way, but the pine396-src package that is required
for the pine application (according to the website) is unavailable from
the following sources:

deb ftp://ftp.eecs.umich.edu/debian testing main contrib non-free
deb-src ftp://ftp.eecs.umich.edu/debian testing main contrib non-free

deb http://http.us.debian.org/debian/ testing main non-free contrib
deb-src http://http.us.debian.org/debian/ testing main non-free contrib
deb http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US testing/non-US main contrib non-free
deb-src http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US testing/non-US main contrib non-free

It just doesn't show up anywhere.

BTW you can remove these two lines from your sources.list file, this mirror
has stopped updating and is going to be discontinued sometime soon.

The current FAQ contains:

4.10 Where is pine?

Due to its restrictive license, it's in the non-free area. Moreover, since
license does not even allow modified binaries to be distributed, you have
to compile it yourself from the source and the Debian patches.

The source package name is pine. You can use the pine-tracker package to
be notified about when you need to upgrade.

Note that there are many replacements for both pine and pico, such as mutt
and nano, that are located in the main section.

So, I guess this bug can be closed since the documentation is up to date.
