pine is no longer distributed inside a .deb package which contains the source.
Instead, the source is distributed as every other source package, usually
in three files: the .orig.tar.gz, the .diff.gz and the .dsc.
There is a new .deb package, pine-tracker, which gives you detailed
instructions about how to build it.
I'm reassigning this bug to the www.debian.org package as a reminder that
whatever incorrect info about pine should be fixed (perhaps it comes
from the doc-debian package, please reassign it as appropriate).
Thanks.
