Hello,

I've tried to search the debian-alpha list archive (from Jan 2001 till
now) for "2100", which is a hardware model number, and got

I called
/org/lists.debian.org/glimpse/bin/glimpse -U -y -n -i -W -L 1000:25:10 -H
/org/lists.debian.org/glimpse/indices/debian-alpha/2001/debian-alpha-200101
-e 2100
glimpse returned to stdout:

and to stderr:

glimpse: pattern '2100' has no characters that were indexed: glimpse
cannot search for it
 	(to search for numbers, make the index using 'glimpseindex -n
...')

Please index numbers as well if possible. This would be useful not only
for model numbers, but also for version numbers.
