Actually, I think it would be useful to have a couple of additions:
the version numbers and the dates of the respective versions. Perhaps
where the result page presently says
Search for *other versions of (package)*
you could have explicit links with dates and version numbers, like
this:
Other versions of (package):
*(package)-2.0-4* (stable) 1996-05-29
*(package)-5.67-9* (testing) 2001-04-01
*(package)-5.69-1* (unstable) 2001-10-15
where the asterisks enclose clickable links to the package pages for
the named versions?
This IMHO clears up two problems with the current solution: (1) naive
users will not know what is meant by "other versions" in any case, and
(2) you are immediately made aware when a stable version is
significantly older than what is available in testing/unstable.
