I *did* contact the people who work on the events page (sent you a
mail as well as to debian-press on February 19th 2001)
IIRC I expressed my intention to contribute the material used for the
LinuxExpo Madrid to debian-press.

Yes, that was a mistake. I already apologised for it and asked how
should this (preferably be done).

Fixed. The materials/Makefile had cdlabels twice in the SUBDIRS

Fixed. I have no idea how did I forgot to include openl2.eps on the
commit, but it was on my local copy so the build did not fail (believe me I
tried about six times a 'make install' on all the materials/ in order to
assure myself that all was being compiled ok and installed proplery). I have
just commited a copy of the tex files as well as the logo (which is not
exactly the openlogo, don't ask we what changes since I did not made the
flyers myself). And have renamed it from openl2 to openlogo-f to avoid
confusion.

In any case, you could, in the future, try not to dismiss other's
people's work as "useless crap". I, for one, worked for quite long in order
to get this "crap" in a central place where other developers could make use
of it in the future (you do know that people in Debian tend to have too many
useful stuff around but not that much in our main WWW site, don't you?).

	Javi
