Need help with links to mysql.org

Hi!

It has come to my attention that you have a link on your web site at

 http://www.debian.org/intro/why_debian.de.html

to www.mysql.org. If your intention is to forward your readers to
the real MySQL site, I suggest you should change the link to
www.mysql.com instead.

www.mysql.com is operated by MySQL AB, which is owned by the
developers who created the MySQL[tm] server and who have been actively
working on developing this according to the spirit of open source.

MYSQL.ORG was previously pointing to the same site as mysql.com. The
MYSQL.ORG site is nowadays operated by NuSphere Corporation without our
authorization and in violation of our trademark and other rights. I
have reasons to believe that they are going to use this site to do a
fork of the MySQL code.

It also appears that NuSphere has been violating the GPL license by
selling a commercial box without providing the source code for their
additions to the MySQL[tm] server. By doing this they have, according
to the GPL license terms, lost all rights to copy, modify, and
distribute the MySQL server code until they settle this dispute with
us. NuSphere however has shown no inclination of wanting to settle
this matter, but instead of negotiating with us, launched
www.mysql.org.

We appreciate any help you can give us regarding this.

Regards,
Monty
CTO of MySQL AB and author of 95 % of the MySQL core server code.
