What is the correct sentence in english (was: Debian WWW CVS: french)

Hello, 

this is a call to the native english speaker (and other which speak better
english than me).

I would like to know if the log message I used for this mail makes sense in
english. I want to say that the translation was not so good, and that we've
maid a rewording to correct it.
