Hi all,
the debian-www pages for Packages/unstable/*/* need work.
1. all arch packages must be downloadable
Download Page for dists/unstable/main/binary-i386/admin/fbset_2.0-2.deb
You can download the requested file from any of the following sites:
* ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/unstable/main/binary-i386/admin/fbset_2.0-2.deb
* ftp://www.uk.debian.org/debian/dists/unstable/main/binary-i386/admin/fbset_2.0-2.deb
* ftp://debian.crosslink.net/pub/debian/dists/unstable/main/binary-i386/admin/fbset_2.0-2.deb
* ftp://debian.midco.net/debian/dists/unstable/main/binary-i386/admin/fbset_2.0-2.deb
* ftp://llug.sep.bnl.gov/debian/dists/unstable/main/binary-i386/admin/fbset_2.0-2.deb
* ftp://ftp.au.debian.org/debian/dists/unstable/main/binary-i386/admin/fbset_2.0-2.deb
Where are the m68k, alpha, sparc and powerpc versions?
2. the newest package must be refered (not the i386 version)
fbset 2.0-2 <- not true
3. if there is no bug-report for a package, this should said and not
"The requested URL /Bugs/db/pa/lpcb.html was not found on this server."
4. all available packages must be listed, not only the package for i386
quik, bincompat, ... and possible some others are not reachable
BTW: this is not a new report. I request this for the last three years.
For point 1:
Please put 'buttons' on the package-page (the 'Go To Download Page' for every
architecture). If the package is not on one arch available, then disable the
button or refer to a page, that this package is not yet available.
Please refer to bug #21620 and #23350
Buttons like this:
[alpha] [arm] [ia32] [m68k] [mips] [powerpc] [sparc] [sparc64]
There were some work on this, but what is the status now for this???
Thanks,
Hartmut
