Bug#132885: Status of mono packaging?

As far as I know Alp's disappeared off and is being busy at uni, and he
was the one doing the major work on the Debian Planet mono debs. I'm
also fairly busy at uni and don't want to take on any official Mono
maintainer position at the moment. About 6 months ago the idea was that
we made some kind of .NET policy and ensured the Mono packages
interoperated with the .GNU stuff before we uploaded to Debian.
Nothing's happened on that front, and I suppose we can worry about the
co-ordination after the packages are in the archive. As far as I'm
concerned, go ahead.

Regards,
Rob
