The debian-archive-keyring package in Etch does not contain the GnuPG key
for the recently released Lenny. This leads to the following warning
issued by apt as soon as Lenny is added to the sources.list:
W: There is no public key available for the following key IDs:
4D270D06F42584E6
W: You may want to run apt-get update to correct these problems
This package, which is identical to the one in Lenny, adds this key
among others, as listed below:
* Add Lenny Stable Release key (ID: F42584E6).
* Add Debian Archive Automatic Signing Key (5.0/lenny)
(ID: 55BE302B).
* Add Debian-Volatile Archive Automatic Signing Key (5.0/lenny)
(ID: 6D849617).
The following key will be deactivated by this upgrade (it is no longer
used):
* Remove Debian Archive Automatic Signing Key (2006) (ID: 2D230C5F).
We recommend you upgrade to this version if Lenny is in your sources or
prior to an upgrade to Lenny.

You can get the updated packages at

and install them with dpkg, or add
deb http://volatile.debian.org/debian-volatile etch/volatile main
deb-src http://volatile.debian.org/debian-volatile etch/volatile main
to your /etc/apt/sources.list. You can also use any of our mirrors. See
http://www.debian.org/volatile/volatile-mirrors for the full list of
mirrors. The archive signing keys can be downloaded from
http://volatile.debian.org/ziyi-etch.asc and additionaly was included in
the stable point release r1 in Debian Etch.
