Directory ownership
Good night friends, I'll appreciate some help here: For some reason, I'm not owner of my home folder, that implicates in some problems for programs that have to create folders here, as Wine for example. I've tried change the ownership of the directory with:
# chown -Rv gean:gean /home/gean/
*my username is gean
no error is reported in this command, but the ownership and groups stays the same:
$ ls -l /home
drwxrwxrwx 1 root root 8192 Nov 11 02:56 gean
What I'm doing wrong?
