Thanks. Hadn't noticed. I have only about 30 SkypeOut calls/month.

Just for sake of interest, Wikipedia lists 15 W for the OLPC XO-1.
A common size of compact fluorescent bulb is 25 W. An electric
kettle is ~1 kW. An XO-1 connected for 1 hour draws roughly the
same energy as an electric kettle connected for 1 minute. To
conserve electricity, jettison appliances with heating elements
first.

Definitely not. Skype is preinstalled on the Sony PSP. A friend
should give you a PSP 3001 discarded by his child after receiving
a shiny new PSP-N1000.
And obviously you are articulate. One or more readers of this list
might offer a lead to a decent job.
