Flash player gives me no audio

Hello list,

I have a fresh Squeeze installation on my main desktop and it was all
running smooth, except for the fact that flash player wouldn't play
any sounds for me through both Konqueror and Iceweasel. I'm using KDE.
All other sounds were operating correctly, which means that I could
hear notifications from the OS, music from Amarok, and sound from
games. I was instructed to download the 'padevchooser' package which
brought along pulseaudio as well, but this didn't solve my problem.
Instead, I daresay that it added another: Whenever I log into my
system, I receive the following notification (I scribbled down
whatever I could within 5 seconds):

Notification from Phonon, the KDE ......
HDA Intel ALC883 Analog.... is not working correctly. Falling back to
PulseAudio.

After this, I need to unmute my system sounds from padevchooser's
"Volume Control", which is tiring and unnecessary. I don't want to
have to do that every time I log into my Debian partition.

The following lspci outputs might be useful:

Any thoughts? Should I remove padevchooser and pulseaudio and pursue

Thank you.
