I'm still not getting it. I rebooted today, eth0 came up, but no DNS. /etc/resolv.conf was empty. So I ran resolvconf -u, after adding : nameserver 192.168.10.1 to /etc/resolv.conf . then dns was working. what do I need to do to make dns work every time I reboot, without me having to twiddle something? -- Paul Cartwright Registered Linux user # 367800 Registered Ubuntu User #12459
