Just ran;
$ sudo /etc/init.d/postfix start
Password:
Starting Postfix Mail Transport Agent: postfix.
$ telnet localhost 25
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.localdomain.
Escape character is '^]'.
Stop here. Still the same.
