I would start suspecting the computer itself, grab a Knoppix Live CD and
boot off that - run memtest and generally give the computer a workout.
If that is all ok, then post back here with details of where it hangs,
I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god
than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other
possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours.
