Yea, 300 is too fast. 200 is the hard upper limit, would like slower.
I know from experience with OpenBSD 4.1 on my 486DX4-100 that it is
entirely suitable performance-wise. It only has ISA bus, two IDE
controllers, and only 32 MB ram. I need better I/0.
