SOLVED - Re: Updated Sid today, xorg cannot find "nvidia" driver

I got the same "can't find nvidia' error this morning when upgrading
Sid to xserver-xorg-core 126.96.36.199.dfsg-2. Thankfully I read this
thread and then the nvidia.com forums.
Running this from the console installs the driver in the new location.
# sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-$NVIDVER-pkg1.run \
--x-module-path=`X -showDefaultModulePath 2>&1 | cut -d, -f1` \
--x-library-path=`X -showDefaultLibPath 2>&1`
