Re: upgraded my debian testing system and now have font problems

the reinstall worked! gaim is functioning normally. but i still get the dpkg 
error message. 

   serious warning: files list file for package `gaim-data' missing, 
     assuming package has no files currently installed.

my research on the problem says that to get rid of the message one should 
install the 'gaim.list' file, but doing 'ls -l gai*' in /var/lib/dpkg/info i 
get:

i.e., the file seems to be on the system.
