Hi,

Anybody have a *current* (i.e. gettable from newegg) mobo recommendation?

Beats having to wade through miles of reviews that never mention Linux.

32-bit, 64-bit, Intel fanboy, AMD fan boy, gamer, silent, cheap,
workstation, lots of PCI slots, what?

Come on, give us *some* guidance.

Actually, *anything* that is recommended and is *available* with Newegg, because of where I live. The recommendation is the thing.

I was looking for an ATX form, socket T with SATA.

Reason:
I now have an Epox EP-8VTAI with an AMD 2700+ which has SATA but it is unusable as a boot disk because of BIOS probs.

The cheapest fastest CPU sort of, is the socket T Celeron D.
