There are two related bugs filed already:

#380688: kdebase-kio-plugins: Devices are not mounted as user
#377689: HAL policy breaks mounting for next KDE

(The second one is the root of the problem.)

The proposed workaround is to add fstab lines with the "user" option for
all relevant devices. (I have not tried this yet.)
