Unforch, when I tried to send thru gmail, via an account at gmail, it
seems vz hijacks the message anyway, so it bounces due to the message
being from a not subscribed address. Because of this, I am forced to
use a real address at vz even though I have a gmail account.

I did a test subscribe, using my gmail address, then sent several
messages supposedly thru the gmail server, and they all bounced. The
only ones that seemed to get thru were the subscription confirm
messages. Or maybe they didn't get thru when I replied and thats why
the messages bounced. DamnifIknow.

Did I mention vz is a pain in the ass? Typically the behaviour of a
monopoly as there is no other dsl service available here.

Cheers, Gene
People having trouble with vz bouncing email to me should add the word
'online' between the 'verizon', and the dot which bypasses vz's
stupid bounce rules. I do use spamassassin too. :-)
