exim4 saslauth in testing

Hello all,

I just moved from Debian stable to testing and remote
authentication to my exim4 server is broken.  I have
authentication setup via plain/tls using saslauth and
system passwords as is outlined in the examples.  Just
wondering if anyone is aware of something that could have
broken between exim, sasl, pam and shadow as the log
message is anything but clear.
