Hold back a package is deprecated. I had used it in the past becasue "pinning" prevented notification of updates that might have fixed the problem. How do I get rid of these "hold" flags? (They persist and also foul up Kpackage's UI.)
With Aptitude I just mark them as "to be installed" by hitting the '+'
like if I was just adding a package that wasn't installed. Reply to:
