At the moment I'm booting my Linux/Alpha machine from the SRM prompt with: >>> boot dbk0 -fl 1 $ cat /etc/aboot.conf 0:2/boot/vmlinuz-2.4.25-1-smp initrd=/boot/initrd.img-2.4.25-1-smp root=/dev/sda2 1:2/boot/vmlinuz-2.4.27-2-smp initrd=/boot/initrd.img-2.4.27-2-smp root=/dev/sda2 How do I get it to use this kernel by default so that >>> boot just "does the right thing". Angus (whose abilities with google are obviously failing)
