Hi Caveman,
Yes capture is in kmixer. You have to use the "input" tab along the top
of the kmixer window. You should see three tabs: output, input, switches
read from left to right. Alsamixer also has capture. Type $alsamixer and
then hit F5. That will display all the alsamixer options.
