I hate to say it, but that thing is not very good. Just look at
section 3. It has bad grammar, bad spelling, and plain incorrect
statements. Quite confusing. Not a very good introduction for a
newbie.
I found http://pegasus.rutgers.edu/~elflord/unix/bash-tute.html to be
useful. Note I can't comment on its accuracy.
