How do I use modules with 2 kernels?

I have used kernel 2.4.18 for a year or so on my current machine and
now I am also using 2.6.8-1-686 on the same machine. I can specify the
modules I want loaded at boot time in /etc/modules so should I put
modules for both 2.4 and 2.6 kernels in there?

In particular, the module usb-uhci.o for 2.4 has become uhci-hcd.ko
for 2.6 (I think). Should both usb-uhci and uhci-hcd appear in
/etc/modules?
