Hi all! Anyone else seeing this ? Sometimes when I click on the "edit" menu in acroread, GNOME totally freezes and only restarting X with ctrl-alt-backspace helps. Killing acroread alone doesn't do the trick. BTW, on Fedora2 (GNOME2.6; acroread5.0.8) I experienced the same. Now I have acroread5.0.10 on sarge. Of course I've googled, but I didn't find anything.
