I have a problem detecting my HDD while installing
linux. I had reported this on

I didnt get any reply but i have found the patches for
it on

My question is How to apply these patches? Do i patch
sata_sis.c and then compile it with gcc? In that case
where can i find sata_sis.c for 2.6.x?
