That's kind of what I thought... <searches online stores> ...and they
cost a grand, minimum, or several. Shee-yit. An order of magnitude
more expensive than amd64. Bet the performance isn't an order of
magnitude better.

I kind of suspected that as well. So I can't run ia64 apps on amd64.
