Re: GDM, XDM & KDM



Sorry I wasn't more clear.  Can login and start any window manager, not even failsafe.  If I start KDM manually, same problem.  I can login with XDM & GDM, just not KDM.  I looked for something that set KDM apart from GDM/XDM as far as configuration goes, just can't seem to locate it.

One unusual item though.  If I install xterm (via apt-get) and login with KDM, I get an xterm and nothing else.  I have since removed xterm to take a variable out of the mix to try to get to the root of the issue.
