Marc, thanks that was the problem !!!
sprintf(message, "say -s 4 -a \"%s\"", buffer); < this was the big
big big mistake
I added the hole path to the instructions:
sprintf(message, "/usr/local/bin/say -s 4 -a \"%s\"", buffer);
